For decades, the descendants of Gam Gantam Dora -a courageous tribal leader and freedom fighter who stood alongside Alluri Sitarama Raju - have lived in makeshift straw huts across villages. Despite his sacrifices against British rule, his family remained forgotten, struggling without proper shelter or support.  In February 2025, this injustice was finally addressed. NCC Limited stepped forward to provide 11 newly built apartments, giving his descendants not just homes, but lost dignity which is a long-overdue recognition of those who gave everything for India’s freedom.
