    I love Circles & Concrete. Both of them because they are so much fun to use. Both break monotony of a place, endless possibilities. Both are metaphorical in many ways. So here is a concept project : The House of CC A tropical Concrete house with Circles in chennai. One where you have pockets of waterbody tucked into a open plan. One where you think you know the house, but you get lost in the space. One where it's still a rectangular plan, but a maze. Do you also love using Concrete & Circles in your project ?     Have you ever been to a Government hospital in India ? I happen to step into one, and it made me overwhelmed. The way, a public building is constructed and maintained, especially a hospital, was horrible. Why our taxes are not enough or not put into good use ? Did anyone questioned or debated on the design? While the proposal was started out to build a hospital, it ended up being an another contractor building, reduced to nothing but cheap materials. Manifesting : Hospitals to be a retreat, rather than a cheap contract building. Manifesting : Materials so earthy, we feel grounded not God. Manifesting : People to let professionals work in public space rather than politics. Hospitals to be designed rather than negotiated for the cut that goes on every level, worked on personal profits. Hospitals to be a place of healing and treating rather than a marketplace. I, as an architect to actually design a Hospital than manifesting. #architecture #interior #Government #hospital #design
