Here in HSR you can just do things! No long planning calls, no flashy roadshows, precursors just get the foot on the pedal and go! HSR Founders Club a friendly neighborhood founder's club into 18th month of existence pulled off a 4 day event. We planned it for 3 days and executed all 4 days, not by design but to grab an opportunity to host Aaron Bird and Raj Sheth, two of the most direct, no fluff founder turned investors in HSR. Now that being where it started, that's not entirely why it happened. Ishan and I were bouncing off ideas to make events much more of a learning experience and hyper personalised just like how our GTM efforts are. Some part of the brainstorming were already done. So to get the ball rolling, me and Rapti got on a hour long call. 10 mins of my version of the event, 15 mins of answering her questions and 30 odd mins of we sitting on a phone call creating a mental map of how the event is going to be. We had a loosely built agenda. 10 more calls we had Akshay Olivia Junaid Manuel Mejo ( This conversation was funny will write about it later in detail) Srikanth along with Jofin became the core team. 36 hours of pure efforts later we were ready for GTM Week'24. But would not have been executed untill SOCLY.io, Revrag.ai and GrowthSpree - Growth Partners For Early Stage SaaS would not have came is as sponsors. We would not have reached the highs if s11s , eChai Ventures and Everything Design would not have taken the mantle from us and run with it. And Premagic have build out some dope technology here tooo. But isn't that what the HSR Energy is all about? Siddharth, Shashank and Sairam and GrowthSpree - Growth Partners For Early Stage SaaS's workshops, the 1:1 with Aaron, Raj, Manuel, Ishaan, Nilesh Kushagra were our efforts to make events more personalized. We will see you again next year with some brutal experimentations on hyper personalized events. 2025 - January, July and November are gonna be busy PS: the pics attached are how Outbound celebrated our victory over Inbound on the battle of bounds and our Agara walk gathering: Divesh, Ankur, Siddharth, Eepsita, Premsanth, Bharadwaj and Utsav you guys have been fantastic. Honestly Eepsita's EQ and DQm metrics should be in the hall of fame. Bottom line is no matter how amazing your content is, distribution matters.

Phew! What a week, or rather what a #GTMWEEK2024 via HSR Founders Club I promised that I'd share our learnings from organising this event and everything that matters, so here it is. First, The serendipities 🤟 : 1. The workshoppers just came in with 2000% support for us - Siddharth of YellowKyte, Sairam, Shashank, and Ishan - they put their best foot forward and came in to help in just 1 phone call - esp: Ishan and Shashank flying in from Delhi and Hyderabad respectively staying for the whole festival, and literally helping out with operations. Sid also gave away #yellowkyte chai and coffee to his workshop attendees! 2. I have to give a special shoutout to s11s and my operators gang - they didnt just spread the word for us but also turned up. In fact, Aparna Kulkarni helped me out with confirmation calls on the spot (she was attending and had no reason to but she did!) and Niranjan Bala was constantly there squeezing time out and making conversation + supporting inbound at the roast haha Piyush, Anirudh, Deswal, Eepsita, Ankur, Premsanth, Utsav - all of them said yes over a single phone call and even though the trophy went to the outbound team (Rejoe confessed they cheated gais) - team inbound was just *chefs kiss* Divesh came in to be roastmaster and did such a wonderful job of entertaining and moderating the session. I couldnt be more grateful 3. Team Everything Design - the TAT on the creatives and videos was just phenomenal. I was starting to worry if we'd get the registrations link out in time and Arpan Sen just got it done with me. Late nights, iterations - no bar. We requested and it was done. 4. Our sponsors - GrowthSpree - Growth Partners For Early Stage SaaS, Nurge, Revrag.ai, and SOCLY.io - also believed in us and came in at 1-day TAT and that enabled us to pull this off like we did. 5. ORGANISERS - Every volunteer and ecosystem partner came in to plan and execute this with us - whether it was designing the structure or setting up the Linkedin LIVE or running around for mics, vendor calls or operations - they were in it - Olivia, Ishan, Srikanth, Rejoe, Jofin, Akshay, Bharadwaj, Mejo, Junaid, Indranil, Manuel, Georgey were the backbone and I don't think I would have survived this whirlwind of a week without ya'll. I will post about the learnings in another post so I can share more pictures from Day 3 and Day 4. For now, enjoy some highlights from Day 1 and day 2 😍

Ever came back from a event thinking what if the speakers and mentors are beyond a glass ceiling and a 15-20 min session with them could have been a lot helpful? Day 2-4 building zeroztep from HSR: Chicken or egg it is. - Building the backend full-time. All the scraped data are now in Turso - A database of around 16M companies have been created as a table in GCP. On to Supabase now 💪 - Wireframes for MVP is progressing: - Picked up a micro SAAS on the way. A tool that can help contextual personalisation for SDRs. Not a Lavendar or Humantic but fingers crossed here. - User interviews are at 7/100 🔥 Also met Sahaj who wore a crazy t-shirt. Founders at HSR have dope wardrobe.

HSR Founders Club is one year old. Started as a whatsapp group for friends who were building their own startups around HSR, Banglore has now grown to be 450+ member strong community that helps each other from day to day chores of building an organisation, party and celebrate together on the good days and even to have a shoulder to crib and cry on the bad days. Personally this has been one of the most fulfilling experience I have been part of. While building zeroztep every day have been a challenge and a lot of them became simpler since I had support from these many founders at HSR. Sharing a few of those times when another founder from HSR Founders Club bailed me out. Sandeep Rapti Nikhil have been always there a call away from day one helping me ideating and keeping my mental space as clean and productive as possible. Most of the days when I feel low it was just a call and 15 mins later we would be sitting at any one of those cafes in HSR with some candid discussions. Akshay Hangloo for selflessly putting in efforts helping me build data pipeline and scraping systems. Possibly meeting Akshay was a point at which the whole idea of building a product started taking life. Rison and Manoj for always coming in with the tech support whenever I needed an expert eye on the tech side. Nishant and Sushant for always hosting the poker nights and keeping it chill at weekends. We still got a lot of FIFA sessions left :P So here is what we are doing from now on. We are going to build in public and starting tomorrow I will start posting blurbs around how we are building the product here at zeroztep. PS: Attaching a few photographs from the memory lane remembering "How I Met My Fellow Founders"
