Ooms brand introduced the PMB technology to India to fulfill the increased demand for long-lasting bitumen products for International Airports and Expressways.
Ooms India was established in 1999 as Ooms Polymer Modified Bitumen Pvt Ltd for the manufacturing of Value Added Bituminous Products (VABP) and as Ooms Avenhorn Holdings India Pvt Ltd for providing world-class machinery for preventive maintenance of roads.
Ooms India became a wholly-owned Indian entity in 2015.
Five state-of-the-art manufacturing units, each with its own well-equipped lab, with world-class quality control testing facilities, are located in Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Mumbai (Maharashtra), Durgapur (West Bengal), and Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh).
