I had an unforgettable time at the 3-day Silver Jubilee Reunion of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi '99 batch! Reconnecting with old friends and reflecting on how far we've all come over the past 25 years was truly special. The timing of the event, coinciding with the year-end holidays, allowed friends from all corners of the globe to join in and share this incredible experience. The reunion kicked off with a nostalgic Nilgiri hostel gathering, bringing back memories of our formative years—teasing, bonding, and growing together. It was heart warming to reconnect with my old roommates and wing mates, and to see how much both the hostel and hostel mates have transformed over time. On Saturday, we gathered with our mechanical engineering classmates and faculty, reflecting on our professional journeys. It was moving to witness our professors' emotions as they shared their pride in our progress. A standout moment was meeting the IITians from Silicon Valley, who are making ground-breaking contributions to the tech world. It was also wonderful to catch up with batchmates like Jyoti Bansal, Amit Jain, Deepak Mittal, Abhijit Mahabal, and witness the incredible strides they’ve made. What truly amazed me was that, even after so many years, they had maintained not only their remarkable talents in poetry and singing but also their vibrant energy - making the reunion all the more enjoyable. Hats-off to the organizing committee for organizing such a wonderful reunion, allowing us to relive the memories of our college days. Here’s to lifelong friendships and the shared experiences that continue to bind us together! #IITDelhi99 #SilverJubileeReunion #LifelongFriendships #IITians #Gratitude
