How to properly be using Lithium chargers for lithium batteries: Correct polarity: Ensure the positive (+) terminal of the battery is connected to the positive output terminal of the charger, and the negative (-) terminal of the battery is connected to the negative output terminal of the charger. If using a charger with a detachable battery pack, ensure that the connectors are properly aligned and securely fastened.

How it Works: 1. Discharge Cycle: - When the battery is connected to a device, lithium ions (Li+) from the cathode migrate through the electrolyte to the anode. - At the anode, lithium ions combine with electrons to form lithium metal. - The flow of electrons creates an electric current that powers the device. 2. Charge Cycle: - When the battery is charged, the process is reversed. - Lithium ions from the anode migrate back to the cathode through the electrolyte. - At the cathode, lithium ions release electrons, which flow back to the anode. 3. Rechargeability: - Lithium batteries can be recharged multiple times because the chemical reactions are reversible. - However, repeated charge-discharge cycles can reduce the battery's capacity and overall lifespan.
