Jaishankar as the Chief Guest. This ambitious initiative aims to drive large-scale social and economic development in India by focusing on human capital development, mass entrepreneurship incubation, and creating state-level showcases for cross-border investment. Minister Jaishankar praised the diaspora's contributions and discussed developing technology and manufacturing ecosystems in India during the fireside chat with Dr. Purnendu Chatterjee, highlighting the Foundation's commitment to driving India's technological and industrial growth. Quoting Mr. Jaishankar on IIT diaspora at the event "I can't think of any other brand or institution that has done so much for India and the world as IIT has. When you go about the world and talk about India to so many people, the image of IIT today has actually become an image of India and perhaps no more than in the United States." PanIIT Alumni Foundation partners with government agencies to enhance public systems and emphasizes the crucial role of the Indian diaspora in shaping a developed India - "Viksit Bharat". Honorable Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal, from the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment, Madhya Pradesh Government, visited the Government ITI Sardarpur, Dar which is operated by PARAM Foundation. #MadhyaPradesh #PARAMFoundation has been established as a special purpose vehicle by the Department of Technical Education and Skill Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and the PanIIT Alumni Foundation. It was formed in May 2022, aiming to develop selected ITI institutions in the state as centers of excellence and to provide 100% assured employment through skill development, especially to vulnerable sections of society, particularly girls. During his visit, Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal aimed to inspect ongoing efforts in #SkillDevelopment and the progress at the college. The Government ITI Skill College, Sardarpur, Dhar, is run by PARAM Foundation with the primary objective of empowering girls through technical and #VocationalEducation. Currently, 240 selected female students from various districts across the state are studying at this institution, receiving quality education and training. During the visit, Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal met with the first and second batch of female students and listened to their experiences. Additionally, #ETablets and #ElectronicKits were distributed to the students. He praised their education and training, stating that more skill colleges like this will be opened in the state’s backward districts in the coming days. The program was attended by Mr. Gautam Singh, CO of Global Skill Park, the HR Head of Murugappa Group India, Mr. Prakash from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, ITI Nodal Officer A.K. Rajoria, Sardarpur SDM Madam Asha Parmar, Tehsildar Mukesh Bamaniya, former MLA Vel Singh Bhuria, retired Capt Sandeep Goswami, Director of Skill College, Regional Coordinator Rahul Ranjan Singh, College Admin Birendra Singh, along with all faculty members and parents.
