As 2024 winds up, the last month was a whirlwind of activity at Panoculon Labs. We had the opportunity to present our vision for the future of Human-Computer Interaction at various prestigious events across India - Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) hosted by EO_Noida in Delhi, where we finished second runner-up, Campus Fund Grand Challenge in Mumbai, where we were among the top 12 in India out of 2500+ startups, SmartIDEAthon hosted by GITAM Deemed University in Bengaluru where we were among the top 32 of more than 2000 applicants and Boeing BUILD hosted by IITM Incubation Cell in Chennai being in the top 15 across 260+ applicants in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The events provided us opportunities to interact with investors and fellow entrepreneurs, many of whom were as excited about the Panocle as us. Panoculon Labs marks presence at the coveted Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024! We had a fantastic time at the Bengaluru Tech Summit hosted at the regal Bangalore Palace last week, where we got to interact with tech enthusiasts from across the spectrum. The event forged a new way ahead for our mission to build inclusive AI-powered smart spectacles redefining the future of Human-Computer Interaction, with appreciation and opportunities pouring in from people and organisations committed to improving lives through technology. It's that time of the year again! We're thrilled to share that Panoculon Labs presented at the Empower 2024 conference, hosted at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing in the verdant city of Thiruvananthapuram! We thank the Mphasis Foundation for their generous grant, supporting our mission to develop inclusive and accessible technology. Panoculon Labs was invited to attend the Zero Project Bangalore Technology Forum, Food For Thought 2024 event. It was inspiring to witness the amazing people and startups working relentlessly to further the #purpleeconomy and to build a more inclusive world. The event was attended by delegates from startups, academia and social organisations from 10 countries, reinforcing the need for global cooperation to further inclusion and accessibility. The excitement and support we received from attendees were palpable and motivate us in our journey to make inclusive technologies to make people's lives better. Panoculon Labs had the opportunity to be part of the joint workshop on 'Global Leadership in Intelligent Assistive Technologies' as part of the Startup Exchange Initiative between German and Indian startups, hosted by Technische Universität Dresden and IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP) in the historic city of Dresden in Saxony, Germany. The workshop had sessions on opportunities in the European market and enabled networking between Indian and German startups. The showcase of the exciting research work undertaken in Dresden was a cherry on the cake. At Panoculon Labs we are thrilled to be part of the Attvaran Assistive Technology Startup Accelerator—a collaborative initiative by UCL, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Global Disability Innovation Hub, and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. The role will be in-office based out of the vibrant IITM Research Park, Chennai, with a two-month probation period.
