Just look at this beauty… It's nothing but wow 😍!!! To style these fluffy, steamed and sour snacks from the Gujarati repertoire, I decided to elicit a homely yet rustic vibe 👍. Starting with the wooden backdrop to bring out the rustic element, I played with the colour green to contrast beautifully with the white Dhoklas. The green chutneys, the fabric and not to forget the green chillies, pleasingly evoked a contrast. The tadka of the mustard seeds and curry leaves on the top kind of adds a much-needed colour pop to the monotone Dhokla. I was highly pleased 👌 with the outcome. It was a homely setting inviting us to savour the sour delight. It's time for some Dhoklas. • 𝐒𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐩 🍜 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝: 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 🥕 If there's an Oscar for comfort food, 🍝 noodles would proudly brag about it. Right from the basic 2-min Maggi to masala oats noodles, Maggi has been churning out numerous variations of noodles for different target audiences. With the goodness of 20 spices and herbs 🌿 for appetizing aroma and delicious taste, the masala oats noodles are the perfect balance of flavor and health. 🌶️ Spicy, juicy 🍅, and loaded with the goodness of oats, each meal is deliciously filling, and foodstyling it was sheer fun! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭 🎭 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠! Whenever I am working with a noodle dish, I plan to capture every element 🧾 that goes into the making of it, while plating the dish. To elicit a comfy vibe, I served the noodles in an orange bowl 🧡, contrasting with the hue of the noodles. To impart depth to the image, I used the layering technique 🪵 by placing the bowl on a dark brown fabric against a wooden backdrop. To narrate the story of the flavor profile of the noodles, I decided to play around with ingredients like star anise, black pepper, and cloves 🍂 to communicate its spicy flavors. I sprinkled the masala 🧂 on the noodles to intensify the spicy element 🌶️. As oats 🌾 and carrots 🥕 are the star ingredients, I placed them in the blurry background. Masala oats noodles come with dehydrated carrots and corn 🌽. To visually communicate this aspect, I creatively infused the ingredients in the recipe. To ensure the noodles aren't clumpy, I cooked them firm to the bite 🍝 and carefully placed every strand with visible gaps between them. The juice peeking through the gaps can tickle anybody's palate 😋. The clever use of a fork 🍴 in the background was tempting enough to entice viewers to dive right into this juicy and saucy delight. 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐭 ⚡: To avoid a lumpy look, make sure to cook the noodles al dente. Are you ready to slurp your way into the deliciously twisted noodle land? 🍜 . . . #foodstylist #foodstyling #foodphotography #noodles #oats #yummyfood #foodie

  • 𝐋𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐢 Yes, we have styled, photographed, and eaten Motichoor Ladoos 🍊 on this page before. But we’re going to do it again, and y’know, I’m pretty sure a few more times as well! There’s just no chance of any festival or celebration happening without Motichoor Ladoos! 🎉✨ And after spending the last few weeks focusing on bringing modern accents and twists to festival foods, I decided to go back to roots 🌸 with this one a bit – to use the most traditional part of Diwali as inspiration, Diwali Puja 🪔. While riding the wave of going traditional, I also decided to focus on the classic festive colours of red and yellow 🔴🟡 to not just stay on theme with the orange motichoor ladoos 🧡, but also with the classic brass thali, diyas, and marigold flowers. 🌼✨ Even the wrappers used to break the colour between the ladoos and the thali still didn’t steer away from the warm colour palette. Fun fact! We shot this in a pitch-dark room 🌌! Why? To accentuate and give clarity to the light from the diya 🔥. A combination of the diya's glow and a strobe light 💡 did just the trick! And it was 100% worth the effort 💯. Ring the ghanti 🔔 during puja, and ring the follow and like button for us here! 🙌 . . . #foodstylist #foodstylistmumbai #foodstylingandphotography #foodstyling #ladoo #laddu #mithai #dessert #dessertlover #indiandessert

One such popular dish that is relished across the country is biryani 😋. If you're wanting to try something different, here we have got you a unique rendition straight from the 'Paradise on Earth' - Kashmir. This Kashmiri-style Mutton Biryani will tantalise your taste buds and elevate your biryani experience in no time 👍. Pair it up with some chilled raita or salan and indulge in its goodness. Every single bite 🤤 is an explosion of flavours. This Biryani has a lot of nuts like almonds, raisins, cashews and saffron so I decided to bring out the opulence while foodstyling. A wooden backdrop to make the colour of biryani pop up, books to give it a feel that someone has read the recipe to create this wonder, the end result was awesome. The nuts used for garnish added to the extravagance. To bring out the Kashmiri vibes, I scattered pine cones. I absolutely loved ❤️ this, what about you? . . . #mumbaifoodstylist #foodstyling #foodstylist #foodielover #foodartist #foodphotography #chickendish #indiancuisine #biryanilovers #nonveg #muttonbiryani #nonvegfood

  • 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫: 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧. Do you know the unsaid story of the popular Punjabi dish, Butter Chicken 🤔? There are many tales about its origin. However, the most accepted one is that it was first served back in the 1950s. Its invention is associated with 3 Punjabis, Kundan Lal Jaggi, Kundan Lal Gujral and Thakur Dass, who founded the world-renowned Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi. Fascinating 😍 , right? Now coming to foodstyling; rich, creamy and inviting, I decided to elicit a premium look by choosing an all-white look for it. Served in a white premium 👌 bowl topped with cream, this looked like an absolute delight. To elicit a fine dining vibe, baby's breath has been used. Served with naan and sprinkled with kasuri methi, there's no measure of its deliciousness. A bite of it is all it takes to make dinner better. • 𝐌𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐭: 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬. Pani puri is a favourite ❤️ chaat snack of many folks and ours too. With so many bursts of tastes and flavours in your mouth when you have pani puri, you just cannot have one 😊. I still remember, in college days we used to have a pani puri eating competition. And guess who used to be the winner? Drum rolls!!! Me 😎 While foodstyling this pani puris I was highly nostalgic. My focus word for foodstyling this delight was a streetside vibe. The white backdrop with the meetha and teekha paani, sprouts, potatoes masala and sev looked pristine. To highlight the spicy element, I threw some chillies in the backdrop. A ready-to-eat pani puri served right as an invitation to dive right into the dish 🔥. The base of the board was soiled deliberately to give a vibe that someone is savouring these fried dough balls. The highlights of the frame were perfectly rounded puris. Are you already drooling 😋? . . . #foodstyling #foodstylist #mumbaifoodstylist #foodielover #foodartist #foodphotography #panipuri #streetfoodindia #snackstime #streetfoodlover #indiansnacks

Children absolutely love 💕 these super-thin, deep-fried, fun potatoes. They’re crispy, customizable– and of course, delicious 😋 . Whenever I have parties at home, I make sure to make these. Also, I just love to make Garlic-Parmesan Fries versions of these–they’re so delicious and fun. As you can infer from my posts that I am going all in with experimentation in foodstyling and I did the same with these fries. I placed the fries in a criss-cross fashion to bring out their beauty 🤩. To bring out the colour of the fries 🍟, I used black slate and pasted it on the bluish backdrop. Look at the bowl of salsa, it's dreamy along with the scattered ingredients. The end look was organic with a homely feel to it. I just loved ❤️ the outcome. But it may be more Scottish than Southern. Surprising, right 👍 ? If you wanna know more about fried chicken's origin, I think you should read the book - 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 ⌛. The book has a history 🔥 of traditional African American cuisine rooted in the Southern US and an entire dedicated chapter to fried chicken. Whether Scottish or Southern, in this image I have tried foodstyling the fried chicken in a very modernist fashion. Risers, the wooden block made the entire look more experimental. Just look at the play of shadows 🤩! It amplified the beauty in the frame. The minimalistic image, with dips and complementary ingredients, is a 10/10. • 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐨 𝐘𝐮𝐦 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 🍜✨ In the world of food styling, every detail matters, and our recent work with Too Yumm Ramen was no exception. 🎯 Our goal was clear: to capture the true essence of Asiatic cuisine 🌏 while presenting the noodles in their most visually appealing state. 🍜 Our approach involved precise techniques to ensure each noodle strand retained its bounce, sheen, and non-sticky quality, making the dish look both inviting and delicious. 😋 So here are 3 food styling tips for styling Ramen 📸🍜: 𝟏. 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐲 🌊 Tip: Slightly undercook the noodles to keep them firm and bouncy. This prevents them from looking soggy and losing their springy texture during the shoot. Shock them in cold water 🧊 right after boiling to stop further cooking and lock in the ideal texture. 𝟐. 𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬 ✨ Tip: Toss the noodles lightly in a bit of oil to give them a natural sheen. This technique ensures they catch the light beautifully without looking greasy. Opt for a neutral oil, like vegetable or sesame oil, which complements the dish and enhances the visual appeal. 🌿💧 𝟑. 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 🍥🥒🥚 Tip: Place toppings strategically, considering color, shape, and texture. Layer ingredients in a way that creates depth and vibrancy. This adds to the visual interest and highlights the freshness of each element. 🌈🍃 #foodstyling #foodstylist #TooYummKBomb #KBomb #SpiceItUp #Commercial #Ramen #asiannoodles #noodles
