The Institute of Directors (IOD) hosted its 19th International Conference on CSR in Mumbai on February 6th and 7th, 2025. Prashant Tripathi from External Affairs, Pernod Ricard India was invited to speak on the panel, "The Board's Role in Shaping the Future of CSR." He emphasized that CSR should be sustainable, aligned with the UN SDGs, and also drew key insights from the NITI Aayog report on SDGs. For CSR to drive real change, the entire social ecosystem must be engaged, and impact must be assessed regularly. He highlighted Sustainability & Responsibility as key pillars in reorienting stakeholder engagement and redefining CSR objectives for more effective outcomes. He also lay emphasis on the fact that entire chain of social set up should be touched with impact assessment happening on regular basis.
