While the growth rate is high, the success rate is still low given the ability to sustain as a business both in terms of technical and financial. This opens up the need for guiding the startup at every level through out the journey. The mentors providing mentorship becomes imperative at this juncture. While there is a need for mentors by the startup, there is a flurry of mentors avaialble looking for mentees. My personal experience has been that every experienced person wants to be a mentor with out the understanding of the role of a mentor. Came across a very interesting Sanskrit article on the definition of a teacher with various roles and each role had a unique title.
