Difference Between Offer Letter & Appointment Letter 1) Offer Letter- It is given after once Candidate is Selected After Interview. Normally it is one Page Letter mentioning total salary, expected date of joining and validity of offer letter. 2) Appointment Letter / Order : It is Issued once the Candidate confirms & Joins the Organization. It is 3-4 page Letter which contains Salary Break-up, Annual CTC, Probation period, Notice Period, Termination Clause, Leave Details, Statutory Benefits etc. Appointment Letter should be signed and acknowledged by the candidate as a confirmation that he has studied and understand the Appointment Letter / Order.
