🎥 How We Identify Therapy Needs in Children At Project Vithai, our process begins with community-based screenings led by trained Community Rehabilitation Workers (CRWs). 💡 Highlights from the video: • CRWs use UNICEF-approved developmental scales to assess children's growth milestones. • Home visits help identify speech, motor, or cognitive delays. • Therapists diagnose conditions using tools like the Trivandrum Developmental Screening Chart and provide customized therapy plans. • Persistent follow-ups and parent counseling ensure children receive the care they need. • Our mission is to bring early intervention to every doorstep, ensuring no child is left behind in their developmental journey. 💬 Tag a parent or caregiver who could benefit from this information! 📩 Follow us for more updates on child therapy and early intervention. #EarlyIntervention #ChildDevelopment #DevelopmentalDelays #SpeechTherapy #Physiotherapy #ChildCare #CommunityRehabilitation #PediatricTherapy #InclusiveCare #ngo #ngoindia

🗣️ “Want cookie?” “Want cookie?” Ever noticed a child repeating words like this? It’s called echolalia—and it’s more than just mimicking! 💡 Echolalia is often a way for children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, to process language or communicate when other methods feel too hard. ✨ But with the right support, echolalia can become a stepping stone toward meaningful speech! Here's how we can help: 1️⃣ Understand why they’re repeating words. 2️⃣ Model simple, functional sentences they can use. 3️⃣ Introduce visual aids for easier expression. 4️⃣ Work with a speech therapist for personalized strategies. Let’s support every child’s journey to find their voice! 💛 Tag a parent or educator who should know about this. 🫶 #EarlyIntervention #echolalia #autism #childtherapy #childdevelopment #speechtherapy #speech #childhealth #ngo #projectvithai #communication #speechtherapist #ngoindia

📵 Why Limiting Screen Time is Essential for Your Child’s Development 🌱 Screens may seem like an easy distraction, but too much screen time can actually affect a child's growth and well-being! Here’s why limiting mobile and tablet time is so important: 👀 Impacts on Health: Long screen time can strain little eyes, impact sleep, and even reduce physical activity. 🧠 Social Skills: Kids learn best by interacting with real people, not screens! Face-to-face play helps build communication, problem-solving, and empathy. 🕒 Balance & Boundaries: Set a daily limit on screen time and encourage activities like reading, drawing, or playing outside. ✨ Fun Alternatives: Try puzzles, family games, or even a mini scavenger hunt around the house. These activities keep kids entertained while helping them learn and grow! Remember, it’s all about balance—less screen time now can lead to healthier habits in the future. 📚🚲🎨 #ParentingTips #ChildDevelopment #LimitScreenTime #PositiveParenting #HealthyKids #EarlyChildhoodEducation #ScreenFreeKids #ParentingHacks #MindfulParenting #RaisingKids #ngo #ngoindia
