PTC India Limited has signed an agreement with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) to facilitate power procurement in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi through the Power Exchanges for RRTS Delhi – Meerut line. NCRTC, a joint venture of the Government of India and the States of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, operates under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to implement the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project across the National Capital Region. As part of its infrastructure development, NCRTC is focused on securing reliable power, including renewable energy, through Open Access channels. The agreement was signed by Shri Vijay Kumar, CS, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), and Shri Harish Saran, Executive Director, PTC in the presence of Shri Shalabh Goel, Managing Director, NCRTC and Dr. Manoj Jhawar, CMD (Addl. Charge), PTC India Limited. Shri Mahendra Kumar, Director Electrical, NCRTC, Ms. Namita Mehrotra, Director Finance, NCRTC, Shri Navneet Kaushik, Director System & Operation, NCRTC, Shri S K Saxena, GGM, NCRTC were also present on the occasion.
