There is a strong need for more women in STEM – but for many young girls from urban slums, there’s an added challenge of limited access to resources and digital skills. We’ve been working closely with our NGO partners to try and bridge this gap for women in Gurugram. Over the past year, 80+ girls have received trainings in digital skills from more than 70 volunteers from PwC India, to help unlock new opportunities for them in the tech world. We’ve also set up a STEM tinkering lab in a government school for girls, helping them build problem-solving skills and gain hands-on experience with technology. What do you think are some of the other challenges preventing young girls from pursuing STEM, and how can we help overcome them? #TogetherWeFuture #TogetherWeSolve #WomenInSTEM #PwCIF | Jaivir Singh
