SBI Foundation, in collaboration with Wildlife Trust of India and Kerala Forest Department, is supporting a two-day symposium to advance ecological restoration efforts for coastal and marine habitats. Bringing together experts, policymakers, and conservationists, the event will foster discussions on restoration strategies, policies, and collaborative solutions. As part of this initiative, a model mangrove restoration project in Kerala will see 2 lakh saplings planted across 30 acres, alongside the establishment of a mangrove nursery and awareness programs to drive long-term conservation efforts.
