Graduating in the Advanced Management Program - Healthcare from @Indian School of Business isn’t just a celebration; it is a moment to reaffirm the importance of growth, adaptability, purpose, resilience and to reiterate that age is no bar to learn or try something new. Returning to a rigorous academic setting and being on the campus 25 yrs after graduating as a doctor and 23 yrs after my first MBA, has broadened my perspective and deepened my skills in finance, strategy, people management and modern healthcare operations. Year 23-24 was exhilarating and profound—not only for me individually, but for our company, KITES Senior Care. As we navigated a Series A funding round and a transformative merger with Serene Communities, balancing these priorities with my coursework became a true test of resilience. I’m incredibly grateful to my ever-patient family (Aditi, Vedika, Dr. Vinod Nadig), Rajagopal G, my sisters(Seema Bali, Rajni) who encouraged me to take on this challenge and supported me at every step. The graduation ceremony was a unique experience and a surreal experience, allowing me to pause and reflect on the journey. I am grateful to ISB’s esteemed faculty and to my cohort of remarkable professionals who made this learning journey both memorable and impactful. With this milestone, I move forward with renewed dedication to fostering positive change in senior care and healthcare at large. My confidence in myself has grown even more and I am prepared to ride on this continuous journey of learning, innovation and being part of the transformational healthcare landscape and embracing what lies ahead with renewed insight and ambition.
