We recently discussed “How AI impacts Virtual Reality experiences in the defense sector.” Now, we’re excited to share a sneak peek of our latest advancements in AI for our prototype. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far: 1. Smart AI Enemies: We’ve implemented behavior trees to create intelligent AI for Non-Player Characters (NPCs). These trees contain branches of logic that can be either Selectors or Sequences. 2. AI Perception: Our AI characters can now sense noise, activity, and damage, allowing them to investigate what’s happening in their environment. 3. Action Sequences: The Sequence follows a specific order of actions from left to right, while the Selector chooses actions based on the current scene.
