SIDBI has commenced extending the benefits under the Mutual Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSMEs (MCGS-MSME) to its customers. Two of its clients, Hempel Forge Ltd., Ahmedabad (term loan of ₹13.78 crore), and Industrial Radiographic Inspection Company, Chennai (term loan of ₹10.30 crore), received sanction letters under MCGS-MSME from the Hon’ble Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, and the Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance, Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, in the presence of Shri M Nagaraju, Secretary, DFS, and Shri Manoj Mittal, CMD, SIDBI in Mumbai today. SIDBI signed an MoU with MicroSave Consulting (MSC) to promote financial inclusion and economic empowerment for low-income women entrepreneurs in Bihar, focusing on the districts of Gaya and Vaishali. This partnership aims to develop accessible credit options for women at the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP), encompassing both Self-Help Group (SHG) members and micro-entrepreneurs. MSC will contribute technical assistance and capacity-building expertise, while SIDBI will facilitate the implementation of these initiatives.
