We (Somaiya Kala Vidya) are a design and business school for traditional artisans. We currently have two schools running one in Kutch and one in Bagalkote, through outreach projects we have worked in Lucknow, Uttarakhand and Ladakh. Considering the expansion we have in mind for the institute, we are excited to open up a new position for communication and outreach. The position will be based out of Kutch with frequent travel to other regions where we have operations or wish to expand in the upcoming years. It will be ideal for a young graduate with a couple of years of experience who would want to learn and grow with us. Rest assured the job will be exciting as the person would get to work at the grassroots and build with artisan designers and a very supportive team at both locations. Qualifications and skills: Bachelor's in a relevant field with 1 - 3 years of experience. Knowledge of branding & communication with basic project management skills is highly desired. Strong interpersonal skills, mentoring skills, facilitation skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, time management skills, documentation skills, problem-solving skills and leadership skills. Self-motivation and initiative; should be responsible and able to generate work.
