Socio-Capitalist Entrepreneurship - Insights from Mr. Senthil Jayaraman Senthil at IIT Mandi We had the privilege of hosting Mr. Senthil Jayaraman, Director at Mashini Home Designs, at the School of Management, IIT Mandi. He shared thought-provoking insights on socio-capitalist entrepreneurship—earning money while creating a positive social impact. He highlighted India's shift from a socialist economy to a capitalist-driven landscape post-1990s liberalization. Of 60 crore workers, 45 crore remain in the unorganized sector, making formalization a challenge. Tata exemplifies socio-capitalism, balancing business success with social impact. Jamshedpur thrives as an industrial township built on corporate responsibility. He urged respect for all jobs beyond software careers. His words—"If you do what you never did, you will get what you never got"—left a lasting impression. "No one is under you; all are with you!"– A leadership mantra that truly resonated with us today.  It was an absolute honor to host Dr. Indranil Mitra, PhD, MBA, IPR, F- RSS (UK), FRSA (UK), Partner at PwC, at the School of Management, IIT Mandi, for an insightful session on "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀." From 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 and 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 to enhancing financial predictions, we explored how AI is driving real-time 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 across industries. More importantly, the discussion shifted beyond AI models to the rise of Responsible AI (RAI) and data governance, shaping sustainable and innovative leadership.  A key takeaway? Human-machine collaboration isn’t just improving businesses—it’s redefining industries. As Generative AI accelerates competition, AI-native organizations are set to become disruptors, making investments in RAI more critical than ever.  What was truly inspiring was how we, as future leaders, can position ourselves beyond traditional data roles—becoming "Decision-Scientists" and "Insight-Engineers." Identifying gaps in India's crime investigation technologies, he built data-driven solutions tailored to the country’s challenges. She highlighted AI as a powerful enabler in HR, onboarding, recruiting, and compliance—but with a crucial reminder: 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.
