We're thrilled to announce that Anand Desai has officially joined Spocademy as an Advisor. He has been associated with youth sports in various capacities and has been serving the needs of youth and children in the areas of mental health and education for more than two decades as the Managing Partner of Drishti. Anand was the Co-founder and President at Glenmark Aquatic Foundation and has completed his Level 3 coach certification from American Swim Coaches Association. He has been pivotal in designing our fitness training plans using his deep technical knowledge. Anand doesn't shy away from giving his opinion but also ensures that he's always open to feedback. In our short journey together, his biggest contribution has been to constantly make sure that we are extremely customer focused. That we are obsessed about learning from our customers and don't stop asking tough questions of ourselves. In a young startup, it's also critical to have someone like him who can leverage their experience to throw some light on the next few steps when it's pitch dark ahead. We believe that his experiences working with youth and athletes across demographics will be super useful in crafting a product that adds tangible value into our users' fitness journeys. The Running Army of Koleti 😎 We hosted a 100m Running Training Camp at Koleti village in Maharashtra. Young boys and girls who wanted to learn 100m running participated and learned from one of India's best sprint coaches in the camp.
