  • While designing a hardware product, do we jump to do the proto? NO! Here's what we do: 1) Sketching & Brainstorming: Every great idea starts on paper. We poured our thoughts into sketches and concepts, narrowing down the best ones for the next phase. 2) Real-Time Ergonomics Testing: Before diving into materials and stitching, we needed answers to key questions: -Measurements: How do we ensure a fit for all? -Flexibility: Does it allow essential movements effortlessly? -Material: Can we balance comfort and adaptability? -Shape: Is it truly unisex and inclusive? 3) Quick & Efficient Prototyping: Instead of going all-in, we started small. Using foam boards, market-ready nylon straps, buckles, adhesives, staplers, and pins, we built a working model to test the basics. This approach gave us the clarity we needed to refine the design and move forward confidently toward a full-fledged prototype. 💡 Takeaway: Sometimes, the simplest tools can unlock the answers to the most complex challenges.   • Can noise cancellation be done frugally? Yes, of course! Picture this: AI is tasked with transcribing casual conversations between individuals. It has to determine who’s speaking by identifying different voices in a noisy environment. While tools can easily eliminate noise in controlled settings, casual conversations in noisy environments are a different beast. And here, AI must decipher it all! So how do we achieve this frugally? We used these steps: 👉 Use unidirectional mics to focus on the desired beam pattern (though it won’t eliminate all background noise). 👉 Employ multiple mics to adjust sound capture based on the speaker’s location. 👉 Add a passive filter (enclosure) to reduce ambient noise (reverb and echo still remain). 👉 Find an enclosure that minimizes echo and reverb. 👉 Use firmware/software filters to remove undesired frequencies. (as seen in the pic), we conducted trials and errors to arrive at an optimal solution for our client.
