Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Justin Sun, has once again turned heads by eating a $6.2 million piece of art-literally. The artwork in question, Maurizio Cattelan's "Comedian," is a simple banana duct-taped to a wall, originally created to challenge our ideas of art and value. After acquiring the piece at a Sotheby's auction, Sun brought the spectacle full circle in dramatic fashion. At a press event in Hong Kong, he peeled back the banana's story and ate it, declaring that this act added "a new chapter" to the artwork's legacy. The banana, initially bought for just 35 cents, was always meant to be replaced every 7-10 days to prevent decay-a symbolic gesture about the fleeting nature of value and art itself.
