In recent times, many parents have noticed an alarming rise in children exhibiting aggressive behavior, stubbornness, inattentiveness, and an inability to sit still. One often overlooked culprit is the prevalence of white flour, commonly known as maida, in children's diets. Maida-laden products can cause rapid spikes and drops in blood sugar levels, leading to fluctuating energy and mood swings, manifesting as hyperactivity, irritability, and aggression in children. Reducing the intake of white flour products and replacing them with whole grain alternatives can significantly improve your child's behavior and overall health as they improve brain function, helping to regulate emotions and behavior. Simple changes in diet, like these can create a stark difference. Our team can guide you in choosing foods that support better behavior and emotional well-being for your child. We aim to help you foster a healthier, more balanced lifestyle for your family. Every child is unique, and this uniqueness extends to their responses to traumatic events. A child’s developmental level significantly influences how they process and react to trauma. Younger children might show distress through behavioral changes like increased clinginess or regression, while adolescents may display more complex emotional responses such as anger or withdrawal. Family background and available resources also play crucial roles. Supportive, nurturing families can provide the stability children need to cope with trauma, while families with existing challenges may struggle to offer adequate support. Access to mental health services, educational support, and community programs can greatly impact a child’s ability to recover from trauma. Sumona understands these diverse factors and offers tailored support to meet each child’s unique needs. Our team provides comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing support to help children and their families navigate the complexities of trauma. It was just a regular Thursday. Until it wasn’t. The session began like many others—calm, measured, and insightful. My client, a successful entrepreneur, was sharing their wins of the week. Then, out of nowhere, they paused, took a deep breath, and whispered: "Do you ever feel like you're running... but you don't even know from what?" For a moment, the room went silent. And in that silence, I saw it: the invisible weight they carried, the unspoken fears, the endless pursuit of 'success' that had become a sprint with no finish line. We unraveled that thread together, and what we found was startling: a story of self-doubt masked as ambition, of old wounds disguised as drive, and of a life built to impress the world, but not themselves. That session taught me something profound: some of the most 'put-together' people are often fighting the hardest battles we can’t see. We live in a world that rewards appearances but ignores the cracks beneath them. It’s okay to slow down, to question, to feel lost. In fact, it’s the first step to finding yourself again. Have you ever felt like you are running a race that doesn’t feel like yours?

At Sumona, we believe in the importance of mental health awareness. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a serious condition triggered by experiencing or witnessing traumatic events. These can include death threats, sexual violence, military combat, natural disasters, accidents, and more. PTSD manifests through a variety of symptoms. Common signs include intrusive memories such as flashbacks and nightmares, avoidance of reminders of the trauma, negative changes in thinking and mood, and changes in physical and emotional reactions. These symptoms can significantly impact daily life and well-being. Several risk factors can increase the likelihood of developing PTSD. Previous trauma, the severity of the event, a history of mental health issues, and a lack of support can all contribute to vulnerability. Recognizing these risk factors is crucial for early intervention and support. Living with PTSD is challenging, but with the right support and treatment, individuals can lead fulfilling lives. At Sumona, we provide an effective treatment for PTSD often involving a combination of therapies and self-care. For more info, visit our website or reach out to us via DM or call us at 7419312345. 🌈💪 #PTSD #Support #Healing #Sumona #MentalHealthAwareness #PTSD #Support #Healing #TraumaRecovery #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #YouAreNotAlone #TherapyWorks #CognitiveBehavioralTherapy #MentalWellness #SupportEachOther #Mindfulness #Resilience #Hope #MentalHealthSupport #BreakTheSilence #SelfCare #CommunitySupport
