SunSource Energy – a leading provider of solar-based energy solutions with a PAN India presence is seeking an experienced professional to be based out of our regional offices in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. SunSource Energy is a subsidiary of SHV Energy, a 125-year-old Dutch multinational. The right candidate would possess the following qualifications and relevant experience in the areas mentioned below: - Strong experience of 6-15 years in land acquisition for solar power projects and capability of handling the entire process independently. - Lead the process of site selection for solar projects, considering factors such as solar irradiance, grid connection, and environmental impact. - Manage land acquisition negotiations and agreements with landowners or relevant authorities. - Knowledge of land laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to land acquisition. - Ability to conduct thorough due diligence, scrutiny and verification of all legal documents, assess the feasibility of land acquisitions and assess and mitigate associated risks. - Preparing the legal opinions by following applicable law and rules. - Drafting of all types of Deeds (Agreement to Sell, Sale deeds, GPAs, MOUs, Lease deeds etc.) - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, government officials (revenue department, registration etc.), and community leaders. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve legal and regulatory challenges in land acquisition. - Project Coordination: Ensure smooth coordination between land acquisition activities and project development timelines Join us for exceptional professional growth and a collaborative work culture that values inclusion.
