Shri Tulsi Tanti’s vision for India called for access to quality education for all children – the building blocks of our nation’s brighter future. Stemming from this belief of sustainable progress, the Shri Tulsi Tanti Scholarship Program 2024-25 is a Suzlon initiative that aims to bring talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds one step closer to their dream careers. With our scholarship partner, Buddy4Study, we successfully reached over 500 students across various schools in Madhya Pradesh through our outreach program. The sessions intended to raise awareness about the scholarship, built on our commitment to equitable development for India. This is a crucial step in nurturing young changemakers who will shape our world.    To be a part of our journey and to learn more about the scholarship program, click here: https://bit.ly/3VxFR7h

Mr. Sairam Prasad, our CEO - Global OMS, recently had the opportunity to visit the Devarkulam village in Tamil Nadu. Suzlon's community upliftment and engagement programmes in the village have been transformational for the residents - from providing skill training to women to increase their independence to organising eye camps, which led to cataract surgeries for the senior residents. Receiving appreciation from the presidents of the panchayat was a truly heartwarming experience for Mr. Prasad. During his visit, Mr. Prasad shared Suzlon's future plans with the residents to ensure their continued meaningful development. #Suzlon #CSR #communityupliftment

The global stage at COP29 has set the tone for a sustainable future. With the new standards set under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, compliant markets in developing countries can expect to receive more investments for their emissions reduction efforts. This milestone eliminates another hurdle in India's carbon market pursuits as we work towards reinforcing our leadership in global sustainability. This is the building block we need to #BeatTheClock by 2030 #Suzlon #COP29Baku

Sustainability isn’t a choice, it’s a necessity for future success. At COP29, we’re advocating for cross-corporate collaboration to achieve global sustainability goals. By working together, businesses can reduce environmental impact and accelerate climate action, paving the way for a greener, more resilient future. Through innovation, partnerships, and shared responsibility, we can build a world where sustainability drives corporate success. #BeatTheClock by 2030 #COP29Baku #Suzlon #3XRenewables

Building climate resilience begins with empowering people. At COP29, we must prioritise health, education, and youth as core pillars of a sustainable future. Through #COP29Baku, we need to align human development with climate resilience to ensure communities worldwide are equipped to face climate challenges. By focusing on human empowerment, we are not just building climate resilience; we are building a future where everyone thrives. #BeatTheClock by 2030 #Suzlon #3XRenewables

The climate crisis demands immediate, impactful action but it’s not just about the planet. The well-being of communities is at the heart of every solution. At COP29, we need to discuss the climate projects that not only combat climate change but also uplift local communities. From clean energy initiatives to sustainable agriculture, these projects are shaping a future where both people and planet thrive. The time to act is now, let's lead with purpose and ensure no one is left behind in the fight for a greener world. #BeatTheClock by 2030 #COP29Baku #Suzlon #3XRenewables

The road to a sustainable future is still under construction. While political commitments on CO2 reduction and renewable capacity are a step forward, there’s a wide gap between these announcements and actionable change. According to IRENA’s World Energy Transitions Outlook, current plans are set to achieve only half of the required renewable growth by 2030. For a true #EnergyTransition, we need not only more renewables but also balanced investments, robust grid infrastructure, and a push for energy efficiency worldwide. At Suzlon, we’re committed to making this vision a reality. Let’s close the gap, build resilient infrastructure, and drive sustainable progress together.  International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) #COP29Baku #Suzlon #RenewableEnergy https://lnkd.in/g6qGkTUP

A significant gap remains between political announcements and countries’ actual plans and policies, in terms of #CO2 emission reduction, #renewable capacity additions & investments. International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)'s World Energy Transitions Outlook shows that current national plans and targets are set to deliver only half of the required growth in renewable power by 2030. While renewable power deployment has exceeded expectations in some countries, other aspects such as investment disparities, uneven geographical distribution of renewable power, lack of grid infrastructure, less energy efficiency continue to hinder the achievement of the #energytransition. More needs to be done to ensure the transition is just and inclusive. https://bit.ly/3YXNAgK
