Axis Bank and Tata Steel Foundation have inked an MoU on 11-Dec-2024 to enhance learning outcomes across elementary schooling and higher education across 7 blocks in Jharkhand and Odisha. Through the Education Signature Program, the focus is on ensuring every school-eligible child is in school, improve the learning outcomes, and strengthen governance and participatory processes towards schooling. The program shall span across 6 blocks in Jharkhand and Odisha covering 900+ schools, 72,000 children, and 555 villages over the next 3.5 years. The Higher Education Program is focused on increasing access of higher education, especially girls, from remote areas in Noamundi by strengthening and supporting Noamundi College to achieve NAAC accreditation. This December, the Rhythms of the Earth Collective returns to the Hornbill Festival 2024 at Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima, Nagaland, bringing with it a symphony of cultures, languages, and stories. Since its inception in 2009, Rhythms of the Earth has been a platform for tribal artists to preserve and evolve their musical heritage. From its debut with Indian Ocean to collaborations with luminaries like Bickram Ghosh and Purbayan Chatterjee,Swarathma and Dashugs.
