In a world surrounded by endless hypes, it's important we sit back and see things in a larger context. "Let's face it: The Foldable Revolution is Stalled," says Nimish Dubey on TechPP. https://lnkd.in/gJ4qYP2h When Samsung revealed the first Galaxy Z Fold in 2019, many felt that it heralded a revolution in mobile technology, blending phone and tablet functionalities into one pocketable unit. While foldables have improved significantly in terms of hardware and design (the recently released Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is perhaps one of the best in that regard), a number of old issues persist, and foldables are nowhere near going mainstream. With less than two weeks to go for #WWDC2024, I got to talk to some incredible Indian app developers with very interesting and successful apps in their kitty on TechPP. https://lnkd.in/gjYt7kBa These guys are competing globally with the best in the business, and competing well. One of them is Rama Krishna from Fluid Touch Pte Ltd who has developed Noteshelf. Noteshelf is amongst the BEST note-taking apps for iPad (also for iPhone, Android and Windows) with crazy amount of features and millions of downloads. Started as a one-man hobby, and is now a 35+ personnel with a lavish office in Hyderabad. The second developer I spoke to is Aditya Ganguly from Omoi Studio who has developed #Groodles, a unique art therapy app. Considering his background in Psychology, he has tremendous opportunity to take this app to next level. Tech like generative AI will help him further. And finally, Mayank Jain from SplashLearn. With over 40 million learners on its platform, SplashLearn is available in 1 out of every 3 schools in the US. They are expanding fast globally and will soon be tieing up with Indian schools as well. More power to Indian developers 💪💪💪
