ENROUTE TIGER SAFARI IN JABALPUR - NAGPUR HIGHWAY National Highway 45 connects Jabalpur city to Nagpur city. It is a well maintained busy highway. After crossing Seoni city, we pass through a forested stretch of Pench tiger reserve. While enjoying this elevated road, we will find a safari entrance gate of Rukhad zone. Usually safari gates are not found on main highway but it is exception. Given video is from same Rukhad zone. It is a buffer category safari zone but very popular among wildlife lovers. Many of our guests had planned their ground transfer in such a way that they after arrival at Nagpur airport and moving towards Kanha national park, they took break here and undertake jeep safari. After some refreshment at Rukhad Jungle Lodge restaurant, they moved further towards Kanha national park or Satpura national park or Pachmarhi or Jabalpur. JABALPUR AIRPORT TO BANDHAVGARH Now a days, journey from Jabalpur airport to Bandhavgarh is slightly increased. Reason is ongoing road widening work. Direct route from Jabalpur city to Amarkantak is under upgradation in which road width is to be increased, sharp turnings are to be removed or reduced thus whole year 2023 and 2024 will remain affected. Due to this work, taxi vehicle are taking different route in which travel time is increased by 20-30 minutes. Two routes are popular now a days: 1. Jabalpur - Bilhari - Niwas - Shahpura - Umaria - Tala Bandhavgarh Speciality of this route is that it is more nature friendly, scenic views, less heavy traffic but road is more zig-zag, less number of hotels or journey break points. Due to scenic views, tourists love this route in day visits. 2. Jabalpur - Sihora - Sleemanabad - Katni - Badwara - Umaria - Tala Bandhavgarh This route is more busy route with heavy traffic, highway route, excellent road condition, more toll tax but road is more straight.
