Our #DepositRefundSystem collected over 10 lakh PET bottles and 5 tons of plastic waste, ensuring a sustainable Ayodhya in just 3 months. 🧃 Used Beverage Carton Recycling Success Partnering with Tetra Pak India, we expanded our recycling initiative from 4 cities to Gorakhpur, diverting 137.5 million cartons from landfills to recycling across 5 cities! 🛏Bangalore's Mattress Recycling Campaign In just 4 months, we diverted over 2,500 old mattresses from landfills in partnership with Wakefit, ensuring responsible recycling and minimizing waste. 👚 Textile Recovery Initiative in Madhya Pradesh In October, The Kabadiwala and Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF) joined hands to start the first post-consumer textile recovery initiative in Bhopal. Celebrating Change Makers in Lucknow 👏💚 In collaboration with Tetra Pak India, The Kabadiwala has built a network of 100+ safai saathi's in Lucknow, dedicated to collecting #usedbeveragecartons from liquor stores, canteens, and other sources. This initiative not only reduces landfill pollution but also creates important income opportunities for these dedicated workers. With essential safety training, we ensure the safe and efficient collection of these cartons. Once collected, the cartons are recycled into useful products such as tables, chairs, pen stands, and more, contributing to the #circulareconomy and sustainability efforts. To recognize their hard work, we hosted a special event in Lucknow to honor the outstanding contributions of #safaisaathi's, who play a vital role in reducing waste and promoting recycling.
