  • Truly takes a village!

Thrilled to announce that our collaboration with Tata Tea has already sponsored 50,000 meals for underprivileged children. This milestone wasn’t easy—it truly took a village. In just 20 days, we turned 8 unique sets from concept to reality. That might not sound like a lot, but what we packed into those 20 days was nothing short of extraordinary. We delved into over 40 traditional crafts, carefully mapping each one to the milestones we wanted to celebrate. Our team then blended storytelling with art to create illustrations that truly resonate. But as any product-led founder knows, the magic happens in production. It’s where ideas either flourish or falter. For us, it meant 8 rounds of sampling to perfect every color and detail. Did we have to go to such lengths? Probably not. A 20% lighter shade of orange might go unnoticed by most. But it would keep reminding us that we compromised. I’m incredibly fortunate to lead a team that sweats the small stuff. Sure, shortcuts could boost our unit economics—but this obsession to the small stuff is what fuels our long-term brand-love economics (hopefully)! A huge shout-out to the incredible team that made this happen - Kapil, Swathi, Tushara, Oindrila, Boski, Sharvari, Amrita, Dhrumi, Monil and everyone else who played a part in this journey. #impactbrand #artagainsthunger #theplatedproject #indianstartup

  • The last week was big for us! Independence Day is more than just a day—it's a celebration of our pride and heritage.  This year, we wanted to take that celebration a step further. We teamed up with Tata Consumer Products to create something truly special—a limited edition tea set that not only tells stories of India's rich past but also makes a tangible impact. Each set, crafted in a unique art style, honors moments that have shaped India’s pride and glory on the global stage. And here’s the best part: 100% of the proceeds will go towards providing school meals for underprivileged children. We are incredibly thankful to collaborate with brands and leaders who share our vision of creating meaningful engagement that drives real impact. Together, we’re not just celebrating pride; we’re turning it into action. #IndependenceDay #PrideAndHeritage #SocialImpact #BrandCollaboration #ArtAgainstHunger #ThePlatedProject #DeshKaGarv

  • We are hiring for a ecommerce operations and customer support role. The role comes with immense potential for both professional and personal growth!

  • Kiran grew up in a village where superstitions overshadowed progress. Troubled by the lack of open discourse on menstruation and the use of unclean cloth for menstrual hygiene, Kiran decided to take matters into her own hands. In December 2023, she rallied 20 other girls in her village to launch the Gullak project. It’s a simple idea - every week, women in the village contribute INR 5 to the Gullak, which is then used to procure menstrual products for the girls in the village which are then freely distributed. This initiative not only addresses a pressing health concern but also fosters a sense of responsibility and empowerment among the young women involved. This simple act has transformed Kiran’s self-belief and has also inspired many other girls in Kiran’s school to become leaders as well. P.S Our connection to this story is the school run by Milaan Foundation where Kiran studies. Till date, we have sponsored 100,000 meals for the girls who stay at Milaan School.  Our attempt is to ensure that full stomachs mean that girls can focus better on their education!
