Mind Matters is an Indian organization dedicated to mental healthcare, offering accessible online therapy sessions and promoting mental health awareness through content creation and psychoeducation. We are India’s first mental health organization to plant trees or donate to people in need for every new client we acquire for therapy sessions. We allow our clients to choose whether they want to plant a tree or donate to people, and we do this on their behalf without any additional charge. Founded in July 2023, Mind Matters is committed to making therapy accessible to everyone, regardless of location or background. We offer a wide range of specialized services tailored to individual needs, including stress management, relationship counseling, emotional regulation techniques, mindfulness practices, and support for mild mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. I am pleased to announce a new initiative at Mind Matters || Counseling & Therapy At Mind Matters, we are dedicated to providing online therapy and counseling sessions. Our mental health organization has helped over 60 clients address various mental health concerns. Starting on the 1st of August, we will plant a tree or donate to people in need for every new client who begins therapy with us. This initiative will be conducted at no additional cost to our clients, as we will handle the contributions on their behalf. We have partnered with a few organizations to facilitate this effort. Passive suicidal ideation is when a person thinks about death or dying but doesn’t have any plans to take their own life. These thoughts can come from feeling very sad, hopeless, or overwhelmed. People with passive suicidal ideation might wish they could go to sleep and never wake up, or they might think that others would be better off without them. It’s important to know that having these thoughts doesn’t mean a person will act on them, but they are a sign that someone is struggling and needs support. Coping strategies can help manage these thoughts. Talking to a trusted friend, family member, or therapist can provide emotional support and help a person feel less alone. Practicing self-care, like getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising, can improve mood. Engaging in activities that bring joy or relaxation, such as hobbies or spending time in nature, can also help. Mindfulness and meditation can calm the mind, while writing in a journal can be a way to express and understand feelings. If the thoughts are persistent or very distressing, it’s important to seek professional help.
