We had the privilege of hosting the team from Omron Automation’s Bangalore office at a Government Kendriya Vidyalaya, where we are implementing an Environmental Sustainability program, a #CSR initiative of Omron Automation. A sapling plantation drive, accompanied by painting, quiz, and essay competitions, was organized in which both the Omron team and the students participated, fostering awareness regarding a healthier and greener environment. We are implementing a #WaterConservation and #EnvironmentSustainability program in Wada in #Palghar and Bhor in #Pune, #Maharashtra, in partnership with Novateur Electrical & Digital Systems Pvt Ltd. (Legrand (India)) as their #CSR initiative. Groundwater, the world's largest accessible freshwater source, sustains nearly half of humanity and 40% of global agriculture. Overuse has led to significant depletion, particularly in beverage-making and livestock-rearing industries. India faces groundwater-related issues in almost 60% of its districts. To address this, Novateur, under its CSR initiative, aims to support borewell recharge for water conservation. This aligns with Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013, emphasising corporate social responsibility. We are deeply grateful to our partner, Novateur, for their unwavering support and commitment to the much-needed water conservation and environmental sustainability efforts. The Bore Charger, an innovative, patented rainwater harvesting technique, played a crucial role in our Water Conservation program. We are thrilled to announce that Merck Group - Merck Specialities Private Limited and the Third Planet Foundation have joined hands to implement three #CSR programs on Quality Healthcare in different parts of the country. The first project, Aarogya, meaning overall well-being, is the focus of the CSR program on Quality Healthcare in #Maharashtra. The program aims to improve the community's overall health status and raise health education-based awareness among community members, with special attention to women, children, and the elderly. Under the program, we are organising community health camps to improve the community's overall health. We are raising awareness about health best practices, screening and diagnostic services, a comprehensive referral system, and follow-up to establish consistent and proportional access to services. The second project, the #Cancer Care Program, aims to improve the well-being of cancer patients in 4 hospitals in #Rajasthan through a holistic care approach that supports their physical, emotional, and mental health. We believe in treating the person, not just the disease, by integrating our comprehensive care protocol into conventional treatment plans. The third project, the Cancer Awareness and Nutritional Support Program, aims to create a model for counselling #cancerpatients and providing Nutritional Services as a supplement to needy patients with Head and Neck Cancer in #Delhi and NCR to improve their survival and help them maintain continuity of their treatments. The Third Planet Foundation organised the project culmination event of the CSR program, SATHI, an initiative focusing on Seamless Digital Education through Renewable Energy in schools, supported by our valued partner LIC Housing Finance Limited. The program was implemented in 32 government schools in Aspirational Blocks within the Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh. The event was honoured by the presence of Sandeep Tripathi, CSR Regional Lead at LIC Housing Finance, Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Affairs Mrs. Nisha Mehra, SDM Mr. Mukesh Soni, District Education Officer Mr. Rupsingh Bamaniya, school authorities, students, community members, and media representatives, among others.     Through this program, we aimed to provide students with the opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn skills that they may not have the chance to acquire in a traditional classroom. This is helping them explore creativity and imagination through digital education, enabling them to compete in a world where digital knowledge is fundamental.
