The morning began with a high-energy discussion featuring Tim Draper Founder at Draper Associates DFJ Draper University, Ranu Vohra Co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman, Avendus and President of TiE Mumbai, Dr. Apoorva Ranjan Sharma Co-Founder and Managing Director of Venture Catalysts++ | India's 1st Multi-Stage VC 100Unicorns, and the brilliant Avi Dahiya, Founder and CEO of Twyn. The insights shared by these leaders added tremendous value to the day, making it a truly enriching experience for all those in attendance. But that was just the beginning! The internationally acclaimed television show Meet the Drapers was shot live! Tim's $1 Million Idea Hunt in #India - giving aspiring startups a chance to pitch their ideas to an elite panel of investors. We were honored to have an esteemed jury, including Falguni Nayar, Founder and CEO Nykaa, Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder of upGrad & Swades Foundation, and #PollyDraper Actor/Producer, joining us for the live startup pitches. To see such seasoned entrepreneurs & visionaries provide real-time feedback to the four exceptional startups pitching was a thrilling moment for both the founders & the audience. The jury’s thoughtful and constructive advice was invaluable, offering guidance on everything from product-market fit to scaling challenges, and their insights were deeply appreciated by all involved. Tim Draper and his #team Sarika Batra Sweta Tiwari brought their immense global perspective to the event, and it was incredible to witness them engage with India’s most promising entrepreneurs and investors. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as Draper shared his vision for the future of startups, while also encouraging the local ecosystem to think bigger and bolder. His experience with world-changing companies like Tesla, Skype, has shaped his approach to fostering innovation, and it was inspiring to see him bring that mindset to #Mumbai. Founded by Manas Madhu, Jyoti Rajguru and Gautam Raghuraman.
