When your entire business is unexpectedly put on pause, and there’s no one to listen. We built our Shopify store with the belief that it would empower us to focus on growth, innovation, and delivering the best experience to our customers. But in the past 24 hours, we’ve been left feeling helpless. Due to an incorrect charge by a third-party app, our store was frozen. The app provider acknowledged the mistake and issued credits to offset the charge. Yet, Shopify has neither allowed us to clear the bill nor provided any meaningful response. Despite raising multiple tickets and escalating through every possible channel, we’ve been met with silence. An entire day of sales—gone. Customers left in the dark. A team working tirelessly, only to be blocked by a system that refuses to listen. For a platform that powers so many businesses, the lack of responsiveness in critical moments like this is deeply disappointing. How does a business that depends on Shopify navigate such a crisis when support simply doesn’t show up? We are still waiting, still hoping someone at Shopify hears us.
