Selection Drive of Apprentice Trainees #VSSC

Application invited for the position of EDCs(Entrepreneurship Development Centers) coordinator                                                            Eligibility for the position of EDCs coordinator ▪ She/he must be a Graduate in Engineering/ Masters in Science. ▪ Preference will be given to candidates who have minimum experience of 2 years in entrepreneur related activities. ▪ She/he must have sound knowledge of computer basics and Internet. ▪ She/he must have excellent communication (oral and written) in English and Hindi.  (Monthly Remuneration of EDC coordinator of Rs 20,000/-)                                                                                                                               Role of the Entrepreneurship Development Centers • To nurture critical thinking and business acumen among future Entrepreneurs through workshops, sessions, innovative games and competitions. • Assistance and mentorship support program to aspiring entrepreneurs. • Development and maintenance of ‘Entrepreneurship resource Library’. • Minimum 2 entrepreneurial skills developments event must be conducted by EDCs in every month. 1 in host institute and 1 at any other institute at the respective block level. • A month-wise event calendar is to be created and shared with Department of Industries. • Conduct awareness campaign about various schemes of the state and central government and provide handholding support. • Submit monthly reports of all activities to Dept. of Industries. • Encourage students and local entrepreneurs to apply for financial support through different policies of department of industries. • To find out local problems prevailing in the district esp. in Social, Agriculture, MSME, Service, education sectors and connect entrepreneurs with these problems.
