The inaugural International MICE Summit (IMS24) will bring together over 1,000 global leaders from the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry between 15-17 December at Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City (MISK) in Riyadh, hosted by the Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA). These publications have grown to become proud media partners for renowned global associations like UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, ICCA, IELA - The Int. Exhibition Logistics Association, Asian Federation of Exhibition & Convention Associations (AFECA), ICPB - India Convention Promotion Bureau, Indian Exhibition Industry Association, and IESA India—it’s been an honor to contribute to and support the growth of our industry on such a global scale. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟓𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦. For the first time in the history of the summit, COP29 featured a Tourism Day, with a First Ministerial Meeting dedicated to positioning tourism policy to support national climate goals. In Baku, public and private sector leaders recognized the significant impact of climate change on the tourism sector and its contribution to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. At the same time, they emphasized tourism’s potential to actively foster climate adaptation and regeneration strategies. Over 700 stakeholders participated in the Tourism Day events.
