At #DisinfoPacific2024 in Brisbane, UNESCO MGIEP, in partnership with UNESCO and UNIC Canberra hosted an impactful breakout session addressing the critical challenge of climate disinformation. With over 45 participants, the session featured expert roundtables, interactive workshops, and powerful stories from across the world, shedding light on the urgent need for equitable and inclusive climate action. Through hands-on activities and discussions, we emphasized Media Literacy as a vital tool to combat misinformation and showcased initiatives empowering young people with skills to advance climate integrity.
