As we wrap an eventful month, here’s presenting two of the most impactful initiatives (1/2)   Campaign : Do you carry your own bottle and bag??? Continuing with our philosophy of sustainability, Benetton India proudly partnered in the “My Bottle, My Bag” campaign by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. Everyone was encouraged to incorporate these 'green' alternatives into their regular routines as trusted partners. Plastic pollution causes severe environmental damage, harming marine and wildlife, and contaminating soil and water. It breaks down into microplastics, entering the food chain and posing health risks to humans and animals. We commend MCG Gurgaon for this high-impact initiative promoting reusable and eco-friendly alternatives. The event was graced by Additional Commisioner of municipal corporation of Gurugram Dr. Balpreet Singh & Our CHRO Vivek Mukherjee. We distributed clay bottles and jute bags to reduce plastic waste and pave the way for a greener, healthier planet. In our endevour to collaborate towards Women Empowerment we joined hands with Vision Unlimited to deliver a free eye check up camp for underpriviledged women of Badshahpur village. Through this camp we were able to provide eye check up benefit to more than 250 women of the neighbouring villages, out of them about 199 women were given powered glasses. We would like to thank Dr Shibal Bhartiya and her team for having this organized so seamlessly. Together, we made a significant impact, and we look forward to contributing in many more ways. #BenettonCares #HeartUnlimited

On 30th May 2024, Benetton, in partnership with NGO Mera Parivar, organized a CSR activity aimed at addressing menstrual hygiene among underprivileged women and girls in Old Gurgaon. This initiative is a testament to Benetton's ongoing commitment to promoting health and well-being within the communities we serve. The event began with an educational session that covered crucial aspects of menstrual hygiene and awareness, providing participants with essential knowledge to manage their menstrual health effectively. “Building commmunities through fashion events" Last week, I was invited to an extraordinary fashion show in Jaipur that celebrated not only the beauty of fashion but also the richness of local culture. The event, curated by Vogueindia and United Colors of Benetton India, featured people of Jaipur as it's models, highlighting the importance of celebrating #communities. Held at a heritage site, the show also gave sense of history and tradition, enhancing the overall ambiance and significance of the event.
