A successful first sea trial of Mein Schiff Relax, marking a significant milestone. During the sea trials, we not only successfully tested our digital data collection system within the Low-Voltage (LV) distribution network, but also put the #SeaQ Bridge to the test. Both performed exceptionally well. 🌟 👉 The system utilizes network-based data collection and control of LV Switchboards and group starters, allowing for seamless management of all starters from the Engine Control Room (ECR). 👉 This reduces the need for cabling onboard and enables data collection for optimization and energy saving measures, offering great potential for energy efficiency and more sustainable cruise tourism. 👉 Nearly 20,000 data points are collected for further processing in the ship’s energy optimization systems. The bridge onboard is innovative and forward-looking, with features that enhance both functionality and efficiency: 💡 𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This level of integration has never been implemented on a bridge of this size before. 💡 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁: Gone are the endless rows of buttons; touchscreens and control panels now dominate the space, making navigation intuitive and efficient. 💡 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Every computer can display all necessary systems, controlled through small, intuitive touchpads. We are proud to announce that our #SeaQ technology will be equipping another Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) for Norwind Offshore. 🚢 The vessel will feature our 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗤 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲, setting the stage for a fully digital vessel overview. Key systems onboard include: 👉 SeaQ Green Pilot 👉 SeaQ Integrated Automation System (IAS) 👉 SeaQ Energy Power Management System (ePMS) These advanced solutions will provide vessel operators with comprehensive energy consumption insights, as well as full control and monitoring of the vessel's hybrid systems for greater efficiency and sustainability. This contract marks the sixth CSOV newbuild that VARD has delivered to Norwind Offshore and partners since October 2021, in addition to an Energy Construction Vessel and the conversion of a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) to a Service Operation Vessel (SOV). We are thrilled to once again be delivering our flexible #SeaQ technology.🎉 VARD has signed a contract with Island Offshore for the design and construction of one state-of-the-art hybrid power Ocean Energy Construction Vessel. 👏 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗤 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀: SeaQ Power with energy storage systems and SeaQ shore connection, SeaQ Bridge with full integration and an extensive SeaQ Communication network that includes network and entertainment systems. The SeaQ Control system will have the innovative and new portable monitoring station that enhances the flexibility and accessibility for the operators to monitor and manage the maritime operations.
