Job Title: Supervisor and Field Selection Location: Tembhurni, Maharashtra Key Responsibilities: 1) Manage Banana Operations: Oversee export and domestic operations, including contract farming, technical support, procurement, and planning. 2) Farmer Relations & Support: Build and maintain strong farmer relationships, offering technical guidance and ensuring crop care from farm to packhouse. 3) Fruit Quality & Assurance: Ensure high standards of fruit care, quality assurance, and hygiene during harvesting, storage, and packaging. 4) Farm & Labor Management: Supervise farm equipment, labor management, and crop planning to ensure efficient operations. 5) Packhouse Oversight: Monitor and manage all activities from harvesting to packing, ensuring the quality and safety of the fruits. What we are looking for: 1) Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field. 2) 0 - 2 years of experience in managing farm operations, fruit care, or agribusiness  (preferably in the banana exports industry). 3) Strong understanding of contract farming, crop management, and quality  assurance processes. Conduct visits to pre-booked plots to observe and deviations.  2. Monitor and track the quality and quantity of crops.  3. Work towards achieving the quality and quantity estimations as planned.  4. Provide agronomical recommendations in coordination with the Senior  Agronomist.  5. Ensure adherence to operational schedules.  6. Maintain and update detailed data records for each allocated plot.  7. Train and guide interns on data collection processes.    What we are looking for:    1. Strong field knowledge, particularly in crops like Banana, Mango, and  Pomegranate.  2. Good communication and observation skills.  3. Ability to work independently and in team environments.  4. Experience & Qualifications: ● Educational Qualification of B.sc Agriculture/Horticulture from reputed colleges. ● At least 6 months to 2 years of field experience in sourcing Fruits. (Experience in Pomegranate sourcing will be preferred). ● Should be willing to be on ground, work closely with farmers & open to travel across. ● Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The day kicked off with some exciting individual and group activities, including a thrilling "Flip the Bottle" challenge and a teamwork-focused "Make a Shape with a Rope" game. We also had a hilarious "Save the Ball from Falling" challenge that tested our reflexes and coordination. The festive mood soared as the FGAG Church team joined us with captivating carol singing, an entertaining skit, and mesmerizing hand mime performances. FruitX Mandi recently organized a successful Health Camp for over 100 farmers and their families in Jeewana. Despite a tight deadline, we swiftly collaborated with local healthcare providers to offer essential screenings, including ECG, blood sugar, vision, blood group, and blood pressure tests. Held on 23th December 2024, National Farmer's Day , the camp received enthusiastic participation and garnered praise from the Shri Deep Singh Dhanani (BJP Party Representative), Jalore, Rajasathan.
