Vox Populi Research is a market research agency, specialising in Qualitative and Quantitative Research. We have a team of over 20 full time researchers. We currently have offices in Delhi and Mumbai, India. We combine exceptional research skills with business and marketing acumen to provide counsel to clients in different markets, facing varied business problems. We strive to understand consumers in many markets – India, the Middle East and North Africa, and South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia and China). Our research methods and analysis are firmly anchored in the principles of social sciences – psychology, sociology & socio-cultural anthropology – to ensure practical solutions which have underpinnings in theoretical rigour. With each project we undertake, we strive to deliver excellence and strategic solutions. We can enthuse different teams to come together - marketing, management, advertising, and digital – to build solutions. We are often guided by our mentors - cultural experts like psychologists, sociologists, mythologists and professors of literature, who are the observers of cultural change; and partners to ensure the richest possible output for you. We are also quite active in the international research network and have presented papers at some of the most prestigious research conferences including QRCA, MRS and ESOMAR. ESOMAR • Presentation: ESOMAR Global Qualitative, Paris, November 2015 2 researchers from Vox Populi Research presented a paper titled ‘The Karma of give and take: How Culture affects the space of E-commerce’ with their client OLX. The paper was about how powerful forces of culture can impact the adoption of the modern notion of e-commerce. In India, myths that date back a thousand years still affect the psyche in relation to e-commerce. By deciphering these cultural barriers, we could come up with powerful, actionable, cultural solutions to tackle them. Programme: http://bit.ly/1KzEyJQ

Social media is ruining younger people’s ability to form and maintain meaningful connections! Modern friendships are about sending each other cat memes! It’s the era of situationships and romantic doom! Heard about the recent flutter about anecdata? A phenomenon where research professionals and brands alike make broad assumptions about a cohort or target based on personal anecdotal experiences which can quickly turn into biases. How can qualitative research, where so much of the researcher’s own subjectivity features in the analysis, deal with this phenomenon? Dive into the qualitative depths of phenomenology and discover how it can enhance insights and brand strategies. Here, we break down phenomenology for you, drawing from our recent ESOMAR presentation, where we used this approach to decode changing socializing patterns among Gen Z and Millennials. #ESOMARAPAC24 #BangkokConference #Networking #GlobalInsights #mrx #Research #ESOMAR Source of Images Pane 1 Image- Unearthed comics Pane 2 Image: Clive Goddard at Cartoon stock Pane 5 Image: https://lnkd.in/gyunpHG7

🔍 Don't let confirmation bias cloud your vision! 🌟 It's easy to fall into the trap of interpreting new info to fit our existing beliefs. Aldous Huxley reminds us: 'Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.' Whether we believe in the inherent goodness or badness of people, or even trust astrologers' vague prophecies, we're prone to seeing what we want to see. Let's challenge ourselves to confront our biases head-on. Start by writing down your beliefs across various aspects of life—it's a powerful tool in staying objective and open-minded. Most of us have experienced/seen someone in a bad relationship but one thing often stopped them from getting out of it – “We have been together for so long. I have invested so much in the relationship.” And they remain in the relationship rut. This is Sunk Cost fallacy The Bias describes our tendency to continue in a course of action because we have heavily invested time and effort in it.
