Personal hygiene involves practices and habits that help individuals maintain cleanliness and promote overall health. To instill these essential habits among youth, a camp on personal hygiene was organized by the interns of Vishwa Yuvak Kendra under the guidance of Program Officer, Mr. Rakesh Singh at Shankar Camp, Moti Bagh, New Delhi. The event highlighted the importance of hygiene in preventing illnesses, boosting self-esteem, and fostering a sense of well-being. Through visually engaging presentations, key aspects of personal hygiene were covered, including proper hand washing techniques, the importance of regular bathing and showering, maintaining oral and hair hygiene, using deodorants and fragrances effectively, wearing clean and appropriate clothing, and simple skin care routines. The session concluded with the distribution of hygiene kits to participants, enabling them to apply the practices discussed.
