𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 "𝐏𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐤𝐚"? 𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭? By that logic, what's unique about food delivery or even selling momos? Yet, Zomato and Swiggy are billion-dollar businesses, and Wow! Momo, with ~₹450 Cr in revenue, is valued at ~₹2500 Cr. What people fail to realize is that most billion-dollar startups are built on ideas that anyone could have come up with. These ideas are not groundbreaking. What sets successful startups apart is execution. During my recent visit to Kolkata for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), I met Deepak Kumar, who is the founder of Wah! Puchka, Wah! Litti and I was surprised to see a first-year MBA student running 10+ stores across the city selling Puchka and Litti profitably. Deepak's journey is a testament to the fact that you don't need to 'invent' something new to succeed. You need to take an idea and execute it better, smarter, and faster than anyone else. Remember: There are No Great Ideas! Startup is all about Great Execution! 🚀 What are your thoughts on this? Tag the founders in the comments whose journey has inspired you! PS: Thanks Deepak for those tasty puchkas. BTW, I loved the chocolate ones.
