When we started Dessert DIY, our major focus was to aim for a 100 million user base. There were times when we considered stopping the project since it burned a lot of credits in testing and 10 months of production which is long for a hypercasual game, but we didn’t give up and pushed 100%. When we launched the game, we didn’t know how it was going to turn out, but we believed people will love it. Here we are with 100 million downloads, 10 million monthly active users, 2.58 billion minutes of playtime, and Top chart #1 in 100 countries in the first month of the launch. Kudos to our Weloadin team and CrazyLabs team whose dedication made this possible, propelling us toward even bigger milestones. 🚀 Exciting news! It was an incredible honor to engage with Tamil Nadu's IT Minister, Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan (PTR). Thanks to the minisiter for giving his valuable time to meet with the Founders and Stakeholders of TN's video games and esports companies. During our insightful 90-minute session, we delved into the pain points of gaming companies in Tamil Nadu and strategized ways to contribute to the state's ambitious 1 trillion economy goal. As Tamil Nadu forges ahead with its AVGC XR policy, we eagerly look forward to collaborative efforts with the state. Our goal is to retain local talent, empower budding game entrepreneurs, encourage in bringing more gaming startups in Tamil Nadu. The Minister's support to addressing industry concerns portends a bright future for the gaming landscape in Tamil Nadu. Exciting times await as we play our part in fostering the growth and global recognition of the gaming industry within our state.
