Puzzles me why the Tatas would have another brand in the Quick Commerce space, when Big Basket could probably do the job better, with of course operational arrangements with Croma & Tata Cliq (as Neu would have too) I believe Big Basket has its own challenges with its new focus on QC, and integrating its scheduled and instant deliveries, which is also a bit confusing for customers. And Neu will probably add to that. Somehow, even two and a half years after launch, Neu still seems to be a hammer looking for a nail... #tataneu #bigbasket #quickcommerce

MIRAGGIO, the online-first fashion accessories startup, is set to make its mark in the offline space with the launch of five exclusive brand outlets this fiscal year, as announced by the company's founder and CEO, Mohit Jain. In addition to opening these exclusive stores, Jain mentioned that Miraggio is also expanding its presence in multi-brand outlets. Founded in 2020, Miraggio specializes in the affordable luxury handbag segment. Currently, the company distributes its products through its website and major marketplaces like Nykaa Fashion and Myntra. "Our success at Miraggio stems from the unique market niche we've carved out," Jain expressed. "In the handbag market, there are segments below INR 2,000 and above INR 6,000, but the INR 2,000 to 6,000 range remains largely untapped. Moreover, post-pandemic, consumer buying preferences have shifted, extending beyond tier 1 cities to include aspirational customers elsewhere. We are proud to be pioneering in this unexplored segment." Jain also stated that the first stores will be launched in Delhi. Currently, Miraggio generates approximately 50 percent of its sales from tier 1 cities, with tier 2 contributing 30 percent, and tier 3 markets contributing about 18 to 20 percent. To support its expansion plans, Miraggio intends to raise additional funds. Last year, the startup secured INR 10 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Seven River Holding and Magnetic. Alongside its offline market ventures, the company plans to diversify its product portfolio this year by introducing new subcategories and strengthening its senior leadership team. Jain shared that Miraggio is currently achieving an annual run rate of INR 50 crore. FY25 Q2 results of India's leading apparel fashion & lifestyle companies was a mixed one, with clear trends like premiumization, casualization, beauty, newer value-for-money trendy fashion concepts targeting Gen Zs pushing growth amidst muted market conditions, inflationary pressures & strong competition. At the same time, everyone is quite upbeat for Q3 having festival & wedding season ahead for a stronger growth. Men’s apparel brand WROGN has raised $9 million (Rs 75 crore) from Aditya Birla Group Digital Fashion Ventures Ltd (ABDFVL). This new investment increases ABDFVL’s stake in WROGN from 17.10% to 32.84%, further solidifying its position in the fast-growing D2C fashion space. This comes just months after TMRW House of Brands (an Aditya Birla Group company) invested $15 million in WROGN, valuing the Bengaluru-based brand at around $105 million. WROGN, co-founded in 2014 by siblings Anjana reddy and Vikram Reddy, has successfully leveraged the star power of Virat Kohli to become a leading name in casual wear.
