We've received this feature request numerous times since COVID. Not from our existing customers, but mostly from inbound inquiries. The feature is Auto Proctoring for candidates taking online tests. Every time, we declined to develop this feature, primarily for three reasons: 1) It was not necessary for our existing segments (Indian Testprep Institutes). 2) There were already leading players in the market offering this. 3) This feature is typically required only for high-stakes tests, such as hiring assessments and certifications and they are not our ICPs As a bootstrapped company, we need to allocate our resources wisely to ensure that we remain profitable and continue to grow. However, this time, we couldn't resist developing the feature. The inquiry came from a unicorn, and they had a real problem that the market leader couldn't solve: pricing. They needed to implement it at scale, but they couldn't make it sustainable at the cost of the leading player. They required it at 1/10th of the cost. Since 2020, we have grown significantly, and our profits now enable us to invest in the development of this new feature. We believe this could also increase our TAM (Total Addressable Market) helping us reach our goal of 100Cr ARR by 2027 and add value to our customers by providing Auto Proctored assessments at 1/10th the cost of existing players.

We need to start teaching our kids from school about food and health - * How food is grown, how it's manipulated by giving dangerous chemicals. * What is today's generation consuming and its side effects. * Educate about ingredients in packed food and its side effects. * How our health is being affected by consuming such dangerous chemicals in the food. Our schools don't teach us basics, they are busy teaching some unwanted theorems which 90% of us don't even remember or make use of in our daily lives. Dangerous food industries are spoiling our health by giving unhealthy foods and hospitals are making best use of it and minting money. The worst part is, most of these education institutes and hospitals are owned by our politicians. #need_quality_education

Toxic work environments or toxic workers aren't as black and white as Set 1 and Set 2. That makes it more difficult to identify the culprits. Since I frequently write about toxicity at the workplace, my feed gets many posts on the topic. I hope all these posts are making some difference. The change, if any, is painfully slow when it needs to be on a war footing. It does good to nobody. It benefits the culprits in the short term. Set 2 people may start playing politics after becoming a favourite and for keeping that position. So they have a leg in each Set. Set 1 organisations may be doing 100 things wrong, but doing 10 things right gives them enough reasons to not realise there's something that seriously wrong. So, taking feedback seriously is essential. Not through formal surveys, as not many trust their anonymity. Subtle hints are often the tip of the iceberg. Never shoot the messenger.
