Customer business processes use various cloud services that run primarily on Azure for IAAS & PAAS. Apart from this, there are other SAAS solutions as well. It is important to plan and design a highly optimized FinOps framework to run our workloads ensuring maximum utilization of resources with an effective cost management process.
Medline is looking for a highly organized, detailed & and result-oriented FinOps Analyst for our Cloud estate in Microsoft Azure.
Requirements
Overall work experience of 8 + years
4+ years of experience working as a Cloud FinOps Analyst or similar experience/role
Experience with cloud billing and cost management modules
Good knowledge of forecasting, and predicting the cost of organizations / Org Units
Reporting and cost financial data maintenance and availability management
Stakeholder management and liaising with multiple verticals
Automation and tooling for FinOps analytics
Experience with cloud cost management tools and services (e.g. Azure Cost Management, Apptio Cloudability).
Advanced Excel and analytical skills (developing forecasts & financial reports, pivot tables, charts, and financial calculations)
Experience working within an Agile framework
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment by combining analytical rigor and judgment.
Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, enthusiasm to drive positive change, and persuasive ability.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (ability to present detailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly.
