Tasks
The Head of Sales & Handling Western India is responsible for:
Steering of inside and outside sales reps/teams, e.g. allocation of accounts and performance management
Identification and exploitation of growth potential
Leading customer interface on local level
Responsibility for organizing and opening new stations in the geographical area
Implements LCAG’s strategy and plans on the sales and handling side into meaningful activities under the specific local circumstances
Steering and controlling of the cost budget as well as proactive initiation of cost-saving measures
Collaborate with regional markets BLR & DEL
Maximization of earnings and yields
Recruiting, managing, motivating and developing subordinate staff
Participate in other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal Head of Sales & Handling Western India should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree / vocational training required
Master's degree desirable
Minimum 4 years of experience in the Airfreight Logistics or Air carrier with at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a team lead, demonstrating the ability to guide, motivate, & manage teams effectively in high-pressure environments
Alternatively, good knowledge of comparable international airline / logistics industry structures
Fluency in English, knowledge of local language Marathi & Hindi will beneficial
Professional knowledge of Logistics, Airline industry
Well versed with Western India air EXIM market
Drive for digitalization & DSA exposure
Excellent ability to work under pressure
